Terms of Service
Effective May 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of lifesciencesliability.com (the "Site") and the tools and content available through the Site, including the Free Insurance Requirements Analyzer. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
Educational purposes only
All information on the Site — including clause translations in the glossary, Q&A answers, comparison pages, blog posts, cost guide ranges, sub-vertical landing pages, state-specific commentary, and analyzer results — is provided for educational purposes. It does not constitute legal advice, regulatory advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or specific insurance advice. It is not a quote for insurance.
Insurance product availability, terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, and premium are determined by the issuing carriers and depend on facts specific to each operator. Coverage cannot be bound through the Site.
The analyzer
The Free Insurance Requirements Analyzer translates the language of insurance clauses commonly seen in life-sciences contracts and offers a rough comparison against the program information you provide. The analyzer\'s output is directional, not authoritative. The output does not constitute insurance advice or a coverage determination. Operators should consult with a licensed insurance professional, legal counsel, and any other appropriate advisor before making program decisions.
No carrier endorsement
The Site is agency-neutral and does not name specific insurance carriers. References to "specialty life-sciences markets" or similar phrases describe categories of carriers and are not endorsements of any specific carrier.
No professional relationship
Your use of the Site does not create an insurance broker-client, attorney-client, accountant-client, or other professional relationship between you and Life Sciences Liability or any individual associated with the Site. A professional relationship can only be created through a separate written engagement.
Third-party links and sources
The Site links to external resources including FDA pages, USP standards, the Code of Federal Regulations, HHS materials, state statutes, SEC materials, DOL materials, and industry references. These links are provided for convenience and educational reference. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of external sites.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, design, structured data, the clause glossary, Q&A library, comparison pages, state pages, the analyzer, and code — is owned by Life Sciences Liability or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view, download, and print pages for personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms. You may not republish content commercially or scrape the Site for systematic reuse without our written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site in any manner that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, disrupts Site operation, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to Site systems. Automated scraping or systematic copying of Site content is prohibited except by well-behaved search and AI crawlers in accordance with our robots.txt and llms.txt directives.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site and all content and tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Life Sciences Liability or any associated party be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any tool or content available through the Site.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
